I make no claims to be a professional chef, or even a gifted amateur cook. Nor do I claim to be a gourmand or a foodie – obsessed with the finest food and drink. But I do enjoy cooking, I find cooking from scratch to be relaxing and rewarding. I am largely self-taught apart from the modest range of dishes my mother taught me.
The tips, hints, recipes and random food related thoughts I offer should be taken as my opinion, based on my own experiences and mostly cooked in my own kitchen.
